On cooling slowly a complicated domain structure consisting of 12 variants is formed. This domain structure is analysed using group theoretical concepts. Contrast experiments in the electron microscope give direct evidence for the occurrence of the different types of interfaces. On fast cooling a transition state is formed; its characteristic cluster is a tetrahedron containing three cations and one vacancy. High resolution images directly reveal the pattern of vacancy tunnels in the thiogallate structure. Das ternäre Multikation-Chalkogenid (Cu0,5In2,5□) Se4 besitzt die tetragonale Thiogallat-Struktur. Oberhalb einer bestimmten Temperatur bilden die Kationen in den tetraedrischen Zwischengitterplätzen im kubisch dichtgepackten Selenuntergitter eine Fehlordnung. Nach langsamer Abkühlung tritt eine komplizierte Domänenstruktur, bestehend aus 12 Varianten auf. Mit gruppentheoretischen Methoden wird diese Domänenstruktur analysiert. Kontrastexperimente im Elektronenmikroskop ergeben einen direkten Hinweis für das Auftreten verschiedener Grenzflächentypen. Bei schneller Abkühlung wird ein Übergangszustand gebildet, sein charakteristischer Cluster ist ein Tetraeder, der aus drei Kationen und einer Leerstelle besteht.
