The authors also pointed out the need for further studies examining the long-term effects of alcohol consumption on noncardiac complications in diabetic patients (1). Our long-term study of a large cohort of patients with previously diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus (2-4) may shed light on some of the unanswered issues raised ...References1.
