The immunohemolytic safety of the transfusion is defined as all the means which reduce or eliminate the immune hemolysis risks caused by the transfusion of blood components. Given that the immunogenic nature of erythrocyte polymorphism is in variance with the incompatible transfusion, to insure the immunohemolytic safety of the transfusions it is necessary to avoid an in vivo encouter between antigens and antibodies, whose feasibility study in vitro is a determining element. In spite of these precautions, the transfusion risk is persisting and called residual risk. After a presentation of the hemolytic risk today and the different tests included in the safety process of transfusion, we describe how to realize these tests redefined by national regulatory service and their ties with the blood components attribution." @default.
