- W2040674787 abstract "Bed-to-wall heat transfer was measured in three-phase fluidized beds under conditions typical of biochemical process applications. The thermal resistance of the fluidized bed, which was significant in the absence of gas, became negligible when gas was introduced. Decreasing the particle density at constant gas and liquid velocity increased the bed-to-wall heat transfer coefficient. Previously published heat transfer correlations were used and gave poor predictions of our data. A new correlation was developed which predicted very well all the heat transfer coefficient results in this paper. On a mesuré le transfert de chaleur litl-paroi dans des lits fluidisés triphasiques dans des conditions qui sont typiques des applications de procédés biochimiques. La résistance thermique du lit fluidisé, qui est forte en l'absence de gaz, est devenue négligeable aprés l'ajout de gaz. Le fait de diminuer la densité des particules pour un débit gazeux et liquide constant accroît le coefficient de transfert de chaleur lit-paroi. On a utilisé des corrélations de transfert de chaleur publiées mais celles-ci ont donné des prédictions peu intéressantes pour nos données. On a alors établi une nouvelle corrélation qui prédit très bien tous les résultats de coefficient de transfert de chaleur contenus dans cet article." @default.
