- W2041626039 abstract "Thirty Anabaena and Nostoc strains isolated from West African soils were characterized for their morphological and physiological properties, and surveyed for plasmids. Most strains were found to harbour one to five plasmids whose molecular masses ranged from 1.5 to 120–150×106 daltons. No relationship between these plasmids and phenotypic properties such as carbon source utilization, antibiotic resistance or cyanophage and toxin production could be established. Trente souches de Anabaena et de Nostoc isolées de sols de l'Afrique de l'Ouest ont été analysées pour leur morphologie et leurs propriétés physiologiques et étudiées pour leurs plasmides. La plupart des souches sont porteuses de 1 à 5 plasmides dont la masse moléculaire s'échelonne de 1,5 à 120–150×106 daltons. Aucune relation n'a été décelée entre ces plasmides et les propriétés phénotypiques telles que l'utilisation de carbone, l'antibiorésistance, les cyanophages et la production de toxine." @default.
