- W2043226522 abstract "Abstract Synthesis of a novel, triply-interpenetrating metal–organic framework 1.H 2 O is described here. The coordination polymer was synthesized by simple reaction of Cu 2 I 2 with an azino-quinoline ligand ( L 1 ). The X-ray crystal structure analysis reveals that the complex 1.H 2 O is a 2-D coordination polymer having (4,4′) grid network architecture. The ligand L 1 possesses quinoline group and the 2-D structure of 1.H 2 O contains distorted cubane type Cu 4 I 4 SBU unit. Each of the four Cu(I) ions posses tetrahedral coordination environment. Metal–organic framework in 1.H 2 O shows strong photoluminescence property at room temperature in solid state and emission spectra shows a blue shift of the peak in comparison to the free azino-quinoline ligand ( L 1 ). The coordination polymer 1.H 2 O was found to be stable up to 290 °C." @default.
