- W2043305916 abstract "The microwave magnetic properties of rare earth–3d intermetallic compounds Nd(Fe1−xCox)10V2 (ThMn12-type, 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.5) have been studied. The x-ray diffraction analyses and static magnetic measurements indicate that the anisotropy in this system is strongly modified by Co substitution. With increasing Co content, the easy magnetization direction appears to deviate from the c-axis (x = 0) to the c-plane (x = 0.2, 0.3), and changes back to the c-axis (x = 0.5); the microwave permeability and the resonance frequency of the compounds change with the saturation magnetization and the magnetic anisotropy. Compared with uniaxial compounds, the planar ones have a higher microwave permeability and microwave absorption. Hence, it is possible for them to be utilized in microwave absorbers and other devices that work under high frequencies." @default.
