They found that 9 of 41 patients had positive urine cultures for C. neoformans at the end of primary treatment and determined the prostate to be the source in 7 of 9 patients. We report a case of recurrent cryptococcosis from a prostatic source in a patient without AIDS.A 48-year-old man with a history of Hodgkin lymphoma in remission was hospitalized with severe headache and fever.
