The conversion efficiency is about ${10}^{mathrm{ensuremath{-}}16}$ and ${10}^{mathrm{ensuremath{-}}14}$ per unit laser intensity in W/${mathrm{cm}}^{2}$ for MgO and SiC, respectively." @default.
