- W2048007480 abstract "Hierarchically ultrathin MnO2 nanoplatelets are decorated on the surface of graphene-based TiO2 (B) hybrids by a facile water-bath reaction to fabricate MnO2@graphene/TiO2 (B) composites. The multi-component composites show high specific surface area of 283.9 m2 g−1, facilitating the electrochemical reactions with solvented lithium ions in the enlarged interface area. The reversible capacity of the composites remains 243 mA h g−1 after 150 cycles, with capacity retention of 83.5%. In comparison with graphene/TiO2 (B) hybrids, the MnO2@graphene/TiO2 (B) composites perform better rate capability, suggesting that surface decoration with MnO2 nanoplatelets can be a promising strategy to enhance the electrochemical performance of anode materials for lithium ion batteries." @default.
