- W2048669985 abstract "Recent collection of ammonites in the Germig area, South Tibet, allows the establishment of an Early to Middle Hettangian psiloceratids succession, documenting the Planorbis and Liasicus Zones. Five ammonite assemblages, ranging from the Planorbis to Laqueus Subzone have been recognized. They are the Neophyllites sp.–Psiloceras ex. gr. pacificum ass., the Psiloceras cf. polymorphum–Psiloceras cf. pacificum ass., Caloceras crassicostatum–Psiloceras distinctum ass., Kammerkarites cf. haploptychus ass. and Discamphiceras silberlingi ass. The Lower and Middle Hettangian ammonite succession together with the Rhaetian Choristoceras cf. marshi (Hauer) offers a basis for the study of the Triassic and Jurassic boundary section, only recently known of in the Eastern Tethyan Himalaya. Des récoltes récentes d’ammonites bien conservées dans la région de Germig, Sud Tibet, ont permis d’établir une succession de psilocératidés de l’Hettangien inférieur et moyen, qui prouvent l’existence des zones à Planorbis et à Liasicus. De la zone à Planorbis à la sous-zone à Laqueus, cinq associations sont reconnues : 1) association à Neophyllites sp.–Psiloceras ex.gr. pacificum ; 2) association à Psiloceras cf. polymorphum–Psiloceras cf. pacificum ; 3) association à Caloceras crassicostatum–Psiloceras distinctum ; 4) association à Kammerkarites cf. haploptychus ; 5) association à Discamphiceras silberlingi. La succession d’ammonites de l’Hettangien inférieur et moyen, ainsi que Choristoceras cf. marschi (Hauer) du Rhétien, fournissent une base pour l’étude de la limite Trias–Jurassique, connue depuis peu dans l’Himalaya téthysien oriental." @default.
