- W2048762203 abstract "Within the framework of the Faddeev equations the triton binding energy, doublet scattering length, Coulomb energy, and S′- and D-state probabilities are determined. The two-particle interactions used are of the local Yukawa type and include also tensor forces. The sensitivity of the three-particle observables for variations of the two-body data is studied. Although no agreement with experiment is obtained, the results clearly favor the Van Oers-Seagrave value for the doublet scattering length. Finally, calculations are also performed using the local nucleon-nucleon potentials proposed by Reid, and as a result we have obtained for this set of potentials ET = −6.5 MeV and a2 = 2.4 F." @default.
