This result is useful for planning the remediation process. In this work, we present the results of the application of the VES method in the characterization of oil contaminated site. Electrical measurements in groundwater samples and petrophysical modeling helped to define the geoelectrical boundary between uncontaminated and contaminated zones. Maximum contamination zones are associated with the presence of free‐phase product.
