Sputum procurement improved from 11.5 to 25.4% (adjusted OR, 3.3; 95% CI, 1.1 to 9.9). There were no observed differences for inpatient mortality or length of stay.This multidisciplinary team intervention significantly improved the time to initiation of antibiotics and procurement of sputum for patients with CAP." @default.
