- W2051288329 abstract "For the Heisenberg ferromagnet, the Hamiltonian commutator equations are used to formulate the problem of renormalizing the Bloch spin-wave creation operators so as to remove dynamical two-spin-wave interactions. This formulation leads to an integral equation, which is solved for long wavelengths. The kinematical interaction between renormalized long-wavelength spin waves, as well as the dynamical interaction, is smaller than for Bloch spin waves. The asymptotic low-temperature expansion of the free energy of the system of renormalized spin waves is calculated by neglecting kinematical interactions and treating dynamical interactions as a perturbation. The leading dynamical contribution to the free energy (Dyson's term of order ${T}^{5}$, where $T$ is the temperature) is obtained in first-order perturbation. The renormalized spin waves thus constitute essentially improved long-wavelength normal modes, since for Bloch spin waves the dynamical interaction contributes in all orders of perturbation to the ${T}^{5}$ term in the free energy. The statistical-average energy shift for renormalized spin waves is calculated, and is found to be proportional to ${T}^{frac{5}{2}}$ for long wavelengths.
