- W2054313483 abstract "The ion-driven permeation of deuterium in Fe-Ti alloys has been investigated with incident ion energies of 300–2000 eV. A good linear relationship was observed between the permeation flux and the incident ion flux. As the temperature increases, the permeation flux increases gradually for Fe-Ti alloys and increases rapidly for pure iron. The permeation flux showed a spike in the first implantation into virgin or annealed membrane. The permeation flux depends not only on the incident ion energy but also on the previous irradiation. The permeation flux is larger the higher the ion energy is. Lower energy (particularly 300 eV) runs, however, reduce the permeation flux of subsequent runs, while higher energy (particularly 2000 eV) runs enhance the permeation flux of subsequent runs." @default.
