A flexible wax compound at 40 lb. per ream of 500 sheets, 24 by 36 in., was found most satisfactory for coating Cellophane.Rectangular containers were found more suitable than cylindrical containers. Wax dipping followed by an overwrap produced water-vapour–resistant packages, but the bag-in-box type, using wax-coated Cellophane as liner, was also effective.
