First, the study deals parts of Ottoman armies scattered in Jerusalem district and their duties. Then, the study points out to the methods of organizing the relation among Sibahis themselves from one side and their relation with citizens on another side of their obligation to the duties and responsibilities stated in the Ottoman records. The study also discusses of the life situations in the countryside according to the nature and human conditions, then the study considers the topic of the family and the women in Palestinian countryside. غاية هذه الدراسة، تسليط الضوء على العلاقات التي كانت قائمة بين الرعايا والعساكر العثمانية التي أُقطعت أراضي في ريف القدس الشريف، فقد تناولت الدراسة بدايةً أنواع العساكر العثمانية المنتشرة في لواء القدس والمهمّات المكلفة بها، وتشير الدراسة إلى طرق تنظيم العلاقة بين السباهية أنفسهم من جهة وعلاقتهم مع الرعية من جهة أخرى، ومدى تقيدهم بالحقوق والواجبات وفق القوانين المعمول بها، كما عالجت الدراسة الأوضاع المعيشية في الأرياف في ظل الظروف الطبيعية والبشرية التي رافقتها، ومن ثمَّ جاء موضوع الأسرة والمرأة الريفية لكونها أحد العناصر الأساسية في النسيج الاجتماعي في الريف الفلسطيني." @default.
