Significant reduction in the coking rate was achieved by adding benzyl diethyl phosphite to the feed. The effect of toluene, methylcyclohexane, l-octene and carbon disulfide on the rate of coke formation was also investigated. Toluene enhanced the rate of coke formation significantly, whereas with methylcyclohexane and l-octene the increase was less appreciable. Carbon disulphide decreased the amount of coke deposited initially, but with increasing run time the asymptotic coking rates were found to be higher than for straight-run naphtha. The yields of propylene, 1,3-butadiene and butenes increased on addition of carbon disulphide. On a étudié l'éfficacité du benzyl diéthyle phosphite comme inhibiteur de coke lors de la pyrolyse de naphta dans un réacteur tubulaire à 1073 K et à la pression atmosphérique. Une réduction significative de la vitesse de cokéfaction a été obtenue par l'ajout de benzyl diéthyle phosphite à l'alimentation. L'effet du toluène, du méthylcyclohexane, du l-octène et du bisulfure de carbone sur la vitesse de formation du coke a également été étudié. Le toluène augmente nettement la vitesse de formation du coke alors qu'avec le méthylcyclohexane et le l-octène l'augmentation est moins appréciable. Le bisulfure de carbone diminue la quantité de coke déposée initialement, mais lorsque les temps d'essais sont augmentés, on a trouvé que les vitesses de cokéfaction asymptotiques étaient plus élevées que pour le naphta de distillation directe. Les rendements en propylène, en 1,3-butadiène et en butène augmentent avec l'ajout de bisulfure de carbone." @default.
