• W2056567175 abstract "Abstract There is currently much discussion in the UK around skills and other workforce development issues within the cultural heritage sector. This coincides with wider debate within the international heritage community around the meaning and purpose of heritage preservation in the context of globalisation. Issues around representation, access, ownership and diversity, inclusivity and human rights are today associated with concepts of authenticity, values and democracy in a global setting and embodied today, for example, by the United Nations in the concept of intangible heritage—which refers to aspects of ‘living’ heritage. This paper brings to light, through an assessment of key international heritage charters, declarations and political conventions, how changes in attitudes towards the past have lead to the formal re‐constitution of the heritage field in recent times. Attention is drawn to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization's (UNESCO's) guidelines for safeguarding intangible heritage, our current understanding of authenticity, and the influence this has on the practice of restoration. The paper is intended to inform current discussion on skills and other workforce development issues in and beyond the UK. Résumé «Vers une nouvelle vision de la restauration dans le contexte de la mondialisation/ changement global / globalisation» Il y a actuellement beaucoup de discussions au Royaume‐Uni autour des questions de développement des compétences et du personnel dans le secteur du patrimoine culturel. Cela coïncide avec un plus large débat, au sein de la communauté internationale du patrimoine, sur le sens et le but de la préservation du patrimoine dans le contexte de la mondialisation. Les questions autour de la représentation, de l'accès, de la propriété et de la diversité, de la politique d'intégration et des droits de l'homme sont aujourd'hui associées aux concepts d'authenticité, de valeurs et de démocratie dans un cadre mondial et s'incarnent aujourd'hui par exemple, d'après les Nations Unies, dans le concept de patrimoine intangible—notion qui se réfère aux aspects du patrimoine «vivant». Cet article met en lumière, grâce à une évaluation des principales chartes du patrimoine international, des déclarations et des conventions politiques, comment les changements d'attitudes envers le passé ont conduit récemment à une re‐constitution officielle du domaine patrimonial. L'attention est dirigée sur les lignes de conduite de l'UNESCO pour la sauvegarde du patrimoine immatériel, sur notre compréhension actuelle de l'authenticité et l'influence que cela a sur la pratique de la restauration. Cet article vise à informer des discussions actuelles autour des questions de compétences et de main d’œuvre au sein et en dehors du R.U. Zusammenfassung „Auf dem Weg zu einer neuen Vision von Restaurierung im Kontext der Globalen Veränderung” Zur Zeit finden in Großbritannien im Kulturerbesektor viele Diskussionen um Fertigkeiten/Fähigkeiten und andere Aspekte der Fortbildung der Arbeiterschaft im Kulturerbesektor statt. Gleichzeitig findet in der internationalen Kulturerbe‐Gemeinschaft eine erweiterte Debatte zur Bedeutung und den Zielen der Erhaltung von Kulturgut im Kontext der Globalisierung statt. Fragen um Repräsentation, Zugang, Eigentumsrechte und Diversität, Inklusivität und Menschenrechte werden heute mit Konzepten von Authentizität, Werten und Demokratie in einem globalen Rahmen verbunden, und werden z. B. in den Vereinten Nationen durch das Konzept des immateriellen Erbes verkörpert, das sich auf die Aspekte des lebenden Kulturerbe bezieht. Dieser Artikel zeigt durch eine Bewertung der zentralen internationalen Kulturerbe‐Charta und ‐erklärungen und politischen Tagungen, wie Veränderungen in der Haltung zur Vergangenheit in letzter Zeit zu einer formellen Wiederherstellung des Kulturerbesektors geführt haben. Die Aufmerksamkeit wird hierbei auf die Richtlinien der UNESCO zum Schutz des immateriellen Erbes, unser gegenwärtiges Verständnis von Authentizität, und deren Einfluss auf die Praxis der Restaurierung gerichtet. Der Artikel beabsichtigt, die gegenwärtige Diskussion um Fähigkeiten und andere Aspekte der Fortbildung von Fachkräften inner‐ und außerhalb Großbritanniens anzuregen. Resumen “Hacia una nueva visión de la restauración en el marco del cambio global” Actualmente hay un gran debate en el Reino Unido entorno a la habilidad y al desarrollo de los trabajadores en el sector del patrimonio cultural. Esto coincide con un debate más amplio dentro de la comunidad del patrimonio internacional, entorno al significado y al propósito de la preservación del patrimonio en el contexto de la globalización. Cuestiones de representación, acceso, propiedad y diversidad, inclusión y derechos humanos están hoy asociados con conceptos de autenticidad, valores y democracia en un marco global y representado hoy, por ejemplo, por las Naciones Unidas en relación al concepto de patrimonio intangible—refiriéndose a aspectos de patrimonio ‘vivo’. Este artículo expone a través de una evaluación de estatutos clave del patrimonio internacional, declaraciones y convenios políticos, cómo en los últimos tiempos los cambios en actitud hacia el pasado han llevado a una reconstitución formal en el campo del patrimonio. Se destacan las directrices de la UNESCO para salvaguardar el patrimonio intangible, así como nuestro actual entendimiento de la autenticidad y la influencia que ello tiene en la práctica de la restauración.
