- W2060102952 abstract "Abstract The thermobarometric study of metapelites from the Kangmar dome confirms the absence of high pressure metamorphism in the eastern part of the Himalayan belt, contrasting with the western Himalayan evolution. The shape of the P-T path and the geochronological data suggest a later evolution of the Kangmar dome (between 30 and 20 Ma), compared with the earlier evolution of the western Himalayan zone (between 55 and 45 Ma). Such a contrasted geochronological and metamorphic evolution from west to east is related to a lateral variation of the dip of the continental subduction plane and to a later India-Asia collision in the eastern part." @default.
