The spectra were interpreted on the basis of the binary-II-VI-compound band structures. The observed dependence of the positions and intensities of the spectral peaks on the Fe content allows us to estimate the contribution of Fe-derived states to the band structures of two SMSC with different crystalline structures: zinc blende for ${mathrm{Cd}}_{1mathrm{ensuremath{-}}mathit{x}}$${mathrm{Fe}}_{mathit{x}}$Te and wurtzite for ${mathrm{Cd}}_{1mathrm{ensuremath{-}}mathit{x}}$${mathrm{Fe}}_{mathit{x}}$Se." @default.
