For the intermediate case of poorly resolved triplets, the iterative program QUADR has been developed and applied. This program allows one to determine the spin coupling constant J(SQ) from the total lineshape analysis. In general 13C-2D coupling constants as small as 0.08 Hz may be obtained through this procedure. The procedure has been used for the analysis of the deuterium-coupled 13C NMR spectra of benzaldehyde-d1. The 13C-2D coupling constants for Cα, Cipso, Cmeta, Cortho, and Cpara have been obtained. The comparison of 13C-2D and 13C-1H coupling constants has revealed several primary isotope effects on coupling constants." @default.
