- W2064334557 abstract "The service conditions of liner plates were analyzed and the disadvantages of high manganese steel, a commonly used material for liner plates were determined: the small impact of the mill balls and minerals in the griding miller cannot make the high manganese steel harden sufficiently and the potential wear-resistance not develop effectively, thus the wear-life of the liner plates is not sufficiently long. Grinding and impacting can easily make the linear plates larger and more deformable because the yield strength of the high manganese steel is low and disassembly of the liner plates is very difficult. It is very important to seek a new material for liner plates with high wear-resistance to meet different service conditions and enabling the disassembly of all of the liner plates in the different parts of grinding miller after some period of service, so that the equipment runs very well. The liner plates in the different parts of the miller need different wear-resistance and as disassembly of the liner plates is carried out at one time, different alloy elements and their additions are chosen and different heat treatments are used in the present experiments to obtain different amounts of austenite and beinite with varying mechanical properties. The experiment shows that lowering the austenizing temperature and austempering temperature can produce a large beinite content faster, which means that the period of production becomes shorter. It is found that an austenite content of 3–9%, a beinite content of 60–85% and a matensite content of 10–23% is suitable for the liner plates of a grinding miller. The wear-life of such liner plates in the production is as three times as long as that of the liner plates of high manganese steel." @default.
