- W2068473642 abstract "The reversed-phase liquid chromatography of Cu2+, Co3+, Ni2+, Fe2+ and Zn2+ chelates with 2-(3,5-dibromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-[N-ethyl-N-(3-sulphopropyl)amino]phenol (3,5-diBr-PAESPAP) and 2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-[N-propyl-N-(3-sulphopropyl)amino]phenol (5-Br-PAPS) was investigated on several columns packed with ion-exchange resin and with octadecylsilane- or phenyl-bonded polymer gel or silica gel. The Anionic chelates with 3,5-diBr-PAESPAP were retained on the ion-exchange resin with a mobile phase containing lipophilic ions. However, significantly tailed peaks were obtained. A silica gel and a polymer gel with a chemically bonded C18 stationary phase gave good resolutions of the Cu2+, Co3+, Ni2+, Fe2+ and Zn2+ chelates. Excellent reproducibility of the retention time and the peak height were obtained with a polymer gel column." @default.
