Ball lifting is considered as a basic practice in sports such as tennis or soccer. Through this task by the robot, we intend to make clear the process of learning to perform this basic task. We examine the performance of a robot system and demonstrate that the robot performs this task in spite of many difficulties. Our purpose is to develop an intelligent robot system that performs a human skill and we have built a basic but significant robot system as a first step.
