The measured differential-scattering cross section for the sum of elastic, inelastic, and charge-transfer collisions compares in order of magnitude with classical potential-scattering calculations based on the work of Dose and Bingham, with the best agreement at higher energies. The measured total cross section for charge transfer to $mathrm{H}(2p)$ shows good agreement in shape and magnitude with previous measurements of Pretzer, VanZyl, and Geballe. The measured probability of total charge transfer and the measured probabilities of change transfer to $mathrm{H}(2s)$ and $mathrm{H}(2p)$ are discussed in terms of a two-state theory." @default.
