The CO2 capture capacity of zinc oxide was examined as a function of particle size, surface area and pore volume. Different characterization techniques such as X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, infrared spectroscopy and surface area analysis were employed. Experiment shows that 1 g of 1 h ball milled zinc oxide can capture 0.198 g CO2 at 75 °C and 10 bar in 3 h. Zinc oxide could be completely regenerated at 250 °C under argon flow." @default.
