Although most organizations prepare thoroughly for the clinical and work flow aspect of RPM solutions, they neglect to consider the logistical resources necessary to successfully manage a broad deployment. The term “logistics” in this context refers to the processes and infrastructure required to enable the use of RPM technologies in the patient's home. These studies implemented several high-speed Internet connectivity models with the use of wired broadband, 3G wireless, or a combination.
