Nach Erörterung der Platzwechselvorgänge adsorbierter Moleküle an Einkristallflächen werden die Methoden zur Untersuchung des Stofftransports an Porenoberflächen behandelt. Dabei wird die Frage der Aufteilung in Oberflächen- und Volumentransport für schwache und starke Adsorption diskutiert. Für den letzteren Fall wird zur Ermittlung von Oberflächen-Diffusionskoeffizienten Ds aus Ad- und Desorptions-Geschwindigkeiten ein Verfahren ohne zusätzliche Permeabilitätsmessungen mit einem nicht-adsorbierbaren Gas angegeben. Die Abhängigkeit der hieraus bestimmten Oberflächen-Selbstdiffusionskoeffizienten D* vom Bedeckungsgrad und von der Temperatur, sowie der Zusammenhang mit der Adsorptionsentropie werden anhand von Untersuchungen des Oberflächentransports von n-Pentan, Neopentan und Cyclopentan in mesoporösen Aerosilpreßlingen erörtert. Die Möglichkeiten der NMR-Impulsspektroskopie zur Untersuchung der Mikrodynamik in Adsorptionsschichten werden kurz dargestellt. The subject is reviewed including recent own results. After a discussion of place exchange processes of adsorbed molecules on single crystal faces the methods for studying material transport along pore surfaces are treated. The problem of dividing the total transport in surface and volume flow is discussed for weak and strong adsorption. For the latter case a method is given to evaluate surface diffusion coefficients Ds from rates of ad- and desorption without additional permeability measurements of a non-sorbable gas. From these Ds values surface self-diffusion coefficients D* are derived. Their dependence on coverage and temperature as well as their relation to the adsorption entropy are discussed for the surface transport of n-pentane. neopentane and cyclopentane in mesoporous Aerosil plugs. The potentialities of NMR-pulse spectroscopy for a study of the microdynamics in adsorption layers is indicated." @default.
