It is based on division of the injected sample, with each sub-sample resulting from the division passing through reactors with different characteristics and the confluence of these channels before their arrival at the detector. A two-peak output is obtained as a consequence of the different residence times of the sub-samples. The behaviour of the new configuration is shown, for studies with dye solutions, to be in concordance with theoretical predictions.
