- W2073237212 abstract "Human parotid saliva was collected without exogenous stimulation (3–5 ml/hr) and with sour-lemon drop stimulation (60 ml/hr). Amylase was isolated from both and separated into isoenzyme families A and B by Bio-Gel filtration. The relative proportions of family A, the glycosylated form, and family B, the non-glycosylated form, were the same in stimulated and unstimulated saliva. The amount of covalently-linked neutral sugars was also the same in family A from stimulated and unstimulated saliva. @default.
