Le changement de phase est pris en compte par une méthode d'homogénéïsation qui permet de résoudre le problème complet suivant un maillage cartésien fixe. Les résultats montrent que la convection thermocapillaire modifie sensiblement le transfert de chaleur dans la pièce traitée et donc la forme du bain fondu. Les effets dus aux conditions expérimentales, comme la vitesse de balayage et la dimension du faisceau, sont analysés. Le matériau testé est un aluminium pur, pour lequel nous avons étudié aussi bien les situations où la tension superficielle est une fonction décroissante ou croissante du champ de température. This paper presents a numerical study of the pure and eutectic alloy laser surface melting problem. The phase change is taken into account with a porosity-enthalpy formulation which permits the solution of the whole problem on a fixed cartesian grid. Thermocapillary convection modifies heat transfer and therefore the melted pool shape. The effects of experimental conditions such as laser scanning velocity and beam radius are analysed. The tested materials are pure aluminium and an aluminium alloy, which permit the study of both negative and positive surface tension-temperature gradients." @default.
