- W2074754288 abstract "A detailed analysis is given of the slip modes of α-uranium in terms of its crystal structure and elastic properties. The effective shear moduli, dislocation line energies, dislocation widths, and Peierls-Nabarro stresses have been calculated for the various slip systems by applying anisotropic elasticity theory of dislocations. Attempts are made to interpret the deformation phenomena reported on α-uranium in the light of the calculated dislocation parameters. The fact that the (010) [100] slip system is the primary one observed at room temperature, whereas the (001) [100] slip system operates only as a secondary slip mode in cross-slip is consistent with the calculated results. A calculation of the temperature dependence of such dislocation parameters between-200 and 650 °C provides an adequate explanation for the prevalence of the (001) [100] slip over the (010) [100] slip at temperatures above 325 to 350 °C. Une analyse détaillée des modes de glissement dans l'uranium α a été réalisée en fonction de sa structure cristalline et de ses propriétés élastiques. Les modules de cisaillement effectif, les énergies de ligne de dislocations, les largeurs des dislocations et les tensions de Peierls-Nabarro ont été calculés pour les différents systémes de glissement en appliquant la théorie de l'élasticité anisotrope des dislocations. On a tenté d'interpréter les phénoménes de déformation signalés pour l'uranium α à la lumière des paramétres de dislocation calculés. Le fait que le systéme de glissement (010) [100] soit le glissement primaire observé aux températures ambiantes, tandis que le systéme de glissement (001) [100] est activé seulement comme un mode de glissement secondaire sous forme de glissement dévié, est en accord avec les résultats calculés. Le calcul des relations entre température et paramétre de ces dislocations, entre-200 et 650 °C fournit une explication satisfaisante pour la prédominance du systéme de glissement (001) [100] vis-à-vis du glissement (010) [100] aux températures supérieures à 325–350 °C. Es wird eine ausführliche Analyse der Gleitmöglichkeiten von α-Uran bezüglich der Kristallatruktur und elastischen Eigenschaften angegeben. Die effektiven Schubmoduln, Versetzungsenergien, Versetzungsbreiten und Peierls-Nabarro-Spannungen sind für verschiedene Gleitsysteme berechnet worden unter Anwendung der Versetzungstheorie bei anisotroper Elastizität. Es wird versucht, die Deformationsphänomene hinsichtlich der berechneten Versetzungsparameter zu deuten. Die Tatsache, dass das (010) [100]-Gleiten bei Raumtemperatur überwiegt, wogegen das (001) [100]-Gleiten eine untergeordnete Rolle beim Quergleiten spielt, stimmt mit den berechneten Ergebnissen überein. Eine Berechnung der Temperaturabhängigkeit solcher Versetzungsparameter zwischen- 200 und 650 °C bestätigt hinreichend das dominierende (001) [100]-Gleiten gegenüber dem (010) [100]-Gleiten bei Temperaturen oberhalb 325 bis 350 °C." @default.
