The vibrational-state dependence of the cross section was structureless and was nearly independent of the quenchers used. No influence of the dipole moment of the quencher was observed. The repulsive state mainly causing this process, i.e., collision-induced predissociation, is estimated to be the Ou− (3Π) state. A model calculation of the cross sections indicates that the potential energy curve of this repulsive state is located very close to the inner wall of the BOu+ (3Π) potential." @default.
