Prior to the calculation of the double Gamow-Teller matrix element ${M}_{mathrm{GT}}^{2ensuremath{nu}},$ the reliability of the intrinsic wave functions has been established by obtaining an overall agreement between a number of theoretically calculated spectroscopic properties and the available experimental data for ${}^{100}mathrm{Mo}$ and ${}^{100}mathrm{Ru}.$ It has been further noticed that there is a necessity of an appropriate amount of deformation in the HFB intrinsic state to obtain a realistic ${M}_{mathrm{GT}}^{2ensuremath{nu}}.$" @default.
