This series involved seven patients, including one who developed fulminant hepatic failure. We report a case of a 24-year-old woman who developed fulminant hepatic failure after using LipoKinetix and subsequently required orthotopic liver transplantation. This is one of the first reported cases of liver failure requiring transplantation after use of this over-the-counter supplement.A previously healthy 24-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital with hepatic failure.
