- W2079397349 abstract "We study the field effect on the strain-induced Mott-insulating state of an organic superconductor $ensuremath{kappa}$-(BEDT-TTF)${}_{2}$Cu[N(CN)${}_{2}$]Br. The gate voltage dependences of the conductivity, Hall coefficient, and thermopower were investigated. While the conductivity obeyed an activation-type insulating formula, the Hall coefficient and thermopower exhibited continuous transition to a metal-like band structure under high gate voltage. This indicates the merger of Hubbard bands at finite electrostatic doping; that is, the field-induced Mott transition." @default.
