This is concluded from the optically deduced effective mass m* ≈︁ me, from the oscillator strength sum rule and from energy and oscillator strength of the first interband transition. It is shown that this result although unexpected at first sight is a natural consequence of the one-dimensionality of the system. Experimente zeigen, daß sich in K2[Pt(CN)4]Br0.30·3H2O die Leitungselektronen längs der Kettenachse wie freie Elektronen verhalten. Dies wird aus der optischen effektiven Masse, der Oszillatorstärke-Summenregel und aus Lage und Oszillatorstärke des ersten Interbandübergangs geschlossen. Es wird gezeigt, daß dieses auf den ersten Blick überraschende Resultat eine natürliche Folge der Eindimensionalität des Systems ist." @default.
