This new photocured product may be used for a broad range of applications in dentistry. Ein neuer kinetischer Prozeß zur Photohärtung, basierend auf einer Mischung von Poly(ethylenglykol)diacrylat und Tris[2-(acryloyloxy)ethyl]isocyanurat in Gegenwart des Photoinitiator-Hybrid-Systems Campherchinon/2-(Dimethylamino)ethylmethacrylat wurde bei unterschiedlichen Konzentrationen der Komponenten untersucht. Das Endprodukt ist hochvernetzt und erreicht bis zu 80% Monomerumsatz. Die Härte dieser photovernetzten Substanz mit 50 Gew.-% eines anorganischen Füllstoffes ist vergleichbar mit der eines gebräuchlichen kommerziellen Produkts (Restorative Z100MP von 3M).
