- W2080329201 abstract "350 in-patients addmitted to Maekawa Clinic were observed with special refererence to the coronary insufficiency and coronary insufficiency pattern of electrocardiogram. 1. Coronary insufficiency was found in various diseases ; the majority of these cases was the group of chronic or latent coronary insufficiency without angina pectoris. 2. It was discussed in case-by-case terms that the pathogenetic factors can be classified into three factors, (a) precoronary, (b) coronary and (c) postcoronary. 3. The coronary insufficiency patterns of electrocardiogram were classified according to the wave form. The presence of significant correlation between the underlying basic disease and the form of electrocardiogram suggests the clinical significance of such classification. On 56 in-patients, high pressure oxygen inhalation test was carried out. 4. High pressure oxygen inhalation was effective on the changes in electrocardiogram in cases of mitral stenosis, arteriosclerosis and neurocirculatory who had flat or inverted T waves and/or depressed early portion of the S-T segments ; it was not effective in cases of coronary insufficiency who had depressed middle or distal portion of the S-T segments. The digitalis and strain pattern belonged to the latter group. S. The high pressure oxygen inhalation test can be used as a diagnostic method in dealing with questionable cases of coronary insufficiency." @default.
