The influence of magnetic spin-lattice relaxation on an initially oriented system of nuclear spins has been calculated as a function of the lattice temperature. Measurements of the time-integrated anisotropy as a function of the temperature permit to extract the Korringa constant for $^{213}mathrm{Ra}^{mathit{m}}$Tl and $^{214}mathrm{Ra}^{mathit{m}}$Tl.
