- W2080490119 abstract "The differential cross sections for the 3H(n, n)3H and 3H(n, d)2n reactions at 14.1 MeV have been measured at the mean angles θ = 4°, 10°, 20°, 30°and 40° with a counter telescope. A leastsquares fit to our elastic scattering data and Kootsey's data at c.m. neutron angles Θn ≦ 90° gives σel(Θn) = 76.01(1+1.48 P1(x)+1.22 P2(x)+0.028 P3(x)+0.034 P4(x)−0.068 P5(x)) mb/sr, where x = cosΘn and P1(x) are the Legendre polynomials, with uncertainty of about 10% coming from the error of the number of 3H atoms. The optical model calculation reproduced the elastic data well. The measured energy spectra and angular distribution of breakup deuterons in the 3H(n, d)2n reaction have been also presented and compared with the calculation based on the Faddeev approach using separable potentials. The observed shape of the breakup deuteron spectrum was fairly well explained by this calculation taking into account the n-n final-state interaction." @default.
