- W2080794037 abstract "ABSTRACT The spectrum of five ionized xenon (XeVI) has been observed in the 27-700 nm by using a capillary pulsed discharge. Weproposed 4 new energy level values ofthe 52 6d and 52 7d configurations. We adjusted the levels ofthe 52 (5g 6g, 7i, 8i) and 52( 4f 5f, 6h, 7h, 8h , 8k) configurations. The observed configurations were theoretically interpreted by means ofHartree-Fock relativistic (HFR) calculations and least-squares fit ofthe energy parameter to the observed levelsKeywords: Optic Spectroscopy, Energy Levels, Classified Lines 1. INTRODUCTION The spectrum offive times ionized xenon, (Xe VI) belongs to the in I isoelectronic sequence with 52 5p as the ground stateconfiguration. Energy level values of the ground and the excited configurations have been previously established by otherauthors'3 using different spectral sources. Wang et al4 using collision-based spectroscopy, made a study of XeVI Rydbergstates, establishing new energy level values for the high s, p, d, f, g, h, i and k electrons. Recently Sarmiento et a15 madespectroscopic analysis ofthe configurations 5s5p5d, 5p3 and 5s5p6s ofXe VI using a capillary pulsed dischargesIn the present work, the spectrum of Xe VI was observed in the 27 " @default.
