At 1 krad, adult emergence was decreased while adults produced showed normal longevity. When 1st and 4th instar larvae were irradiated, pupation was reduced gradually with increasing the dose from 1 to 4 krad while at 5 krad pupation was less in the 1st than in the 4th instar larvae. Adult emergence was affected in both instars especially after 2 krad. Male ratio was reduced by irradiating 1st instar larvae. Adults produced after larval irradiation showed normal longevity. Irradiation of pupae with 1–8 krad did not affect adult emergence, sex ratio or adult longevity. Zusammenfassung Wirkungen einer Bestrahlung von Anopheles pharoensis Theob. (Dipt., Culicidae) mit 60 Co Bei Bestrahlung der Eier von A. pharoensis mit 1–8 krad 60 Co stieg die Sterblichkeit mit der Strahlendosis an. Bei 1 krad wurde das Schlüpfprozent der Adulten verringert, jedoch ihre Lebensdauer nicht verkürzt. Nach Bestrahlung der L 1 und L 4 wurde das Verpuppungsprozent ansteigend mit der Dosis von 1–4 krad herabgesetzt. Es war jedoch bei 5 krad nach L 1 ‐Behandlung geringer als nach L 4 ‐Behandlung. Das Schlüpfen der Mücken wurde nach L 1 ‐ und L 4 ‐Bestrahlung mit 2 krad beeinträchtigt. Eine Bestrahlung der L 1 senkte den ♂ Anteil. Die aus bestrahlten Larven hervorgehenden Adulten zeigten normale Lebensdauer. Bestrahlung der Puppen mit 1–8 krad zeigte keine Wirkung auf Schlüpfen, Geschlechterverhältnis und Lebensdauer der Adulten." @default.
