L'absorption de cystéine S35 a été étudiée par deux méthodes différentes chez des rats âgés (18 mois) en comparaison de rats jeunes (2 mois). Chez les animaux normaux, non narcotisés, la radioactivité du sang mesurée 5, 20 et 40 min après l'administration intragastrique atteignait des valeurs plus élevées chez les animaux âgés, surtout lors de la première mesure. L'absorption était presque similaire à 60 min. Chez les animaux narcotisés, l'absorption de l'acide aminé administré dans le lumen de l'intestion isolé in situ était renforcée au bout de 5 min chez les animaux âgés et d'intensité égale au bout de 20 min. La différence en absorption est interprétée comme étant en relation avec l'âge et avec l'équilibre des thio-amino-acides. Die Aufnahme von 35S-Cystein in alten (18 Monate) und jungen (2 Monate) Ratten wurde mit zwei verschiedenen Methoden untersucht. Bei normalen nichtnarkotisierten Tieren zweigt die Radioaktivität im Blut 5, 20 und 40 Minuten nach intragastraler Verabreichung bei alten Tieren höhere Werte, besonders bei der ersten Probe. Nach 60 Minuten war die Aufnahme recht ähnlich. Bei narkotisierten Tieren war nach Verabreichung der Aminosäure in den isolierten Darm “in situ” die Aufnahme nach 5 Minuten bei den alten Tieren erhöht, nach 20 Minuten gleich. Die Unterschiede in der Aufnahme werden auf das Alter und das Thio-Aminosäuregleichgewicht bezogen.
