- W2091755314 abstract "We combine diffuse-correlation-spectroscopy, near-infrared-spectroscopy and tran-scranial Doppler (TCD) techniques to measure cerebral blood flow (CBF) and cerebral blood flow velocity (CBFV) in healthy and acute ischemic stroke patients to assess cerebrovascular reactivity (CVR). Intravenous administration of Acetazolamide (AZ) is used to stimulate cerebral vasculature. So far the measurements on three healthy subjects showed good agreement between diffuse optic and TCD measurements. An average of 45 % change in CBF and CBFV after AZ administration is obtained which is in good agreement with the literature." @default.
