- W2092144787 abstract "In this paper calorimetrically determined heats of mixing are correlated with excess Gibbs energy values derived from phase diagrams. A simple relation between excess Gibbs energies and heats of mixing for liquid mixtures is found from eutectic solid-liquid equilibria. This relation is used, together with excess Gibbs energy difference functions derived from solid-liquid equilibria, to derive excess Gibbs energies of the solid phases. These are combined with excess Gibbs energies derived from regions of demixing and with experimental heats of mixing. The available information gives rise to propose a common vanishing point, a temperature Tv at which GE so1(X = 12) = 0, for all common-anion alkali halide systems. The common vanishing point is evaluated as: TV = 2631 K. The paper is followed by the text of the PASCAL version of EXTXD for eutectic systems as far as it differs from the text of the region-of-demixing version, which was published earlier." @default.
