- W2092201281 abstract "Abstract Rate constants for reactions of SiF 2 radicals have been measured at 2 Torr in a high-temperature fast-flow system. The bimolecular reaction rate constant for SiF 2 +F 2 over a temperature range of 282–617 K can be expressed as (1.0± 0.25) × 10 − 11 exp [ −(1850±200)/ RT ] cm 3 molecule −1 s −1 , where R is in cal mole − 1 K −1 . The rate constant for SiF 2 + Cl 2 over a wider temperature range of 282–1000 K showed pronounced curvature at high temperatures and can be best fit by a two-termexpression, 2.1× 10 −12 exp(-800/ RT ) + 1.0× 10 −10 exp(−8100/ RT ) cm 3 molecule −1 s −1 . At room temperature, SiF 2 reacted readily with atomic oxygen (k≅=2× 10 −11 cm 3 molecule −1 s −1 ) and slowly with atomic hydrogen ( k ⩽2× 10 −31 cm 6 molecule −2 s −1 ). No reaction with H 2 or O 2 was observed over a 282–1400 K temperature range at pressures up to 10 Torr." @default.
