- W2092209495 abstract "Correlation of fast electron current with magnetohydrodynamic activities is studied extensively in the edge of a reversed-field pinch (RFP) plasma in TPE-1RM20 using a complex probe in order to examine the origin of the driving force for fast electrons in RFP plasma. The fast electron current is found to have a statistically meaningful coherence with the v × b dynamo electric field. However, the coherence is small and the fast electron current has finite correlations with the global magnetic modes which rotate toroidally and poloidally. Correlation with the externally applied electric field is also examined and is found to be small. Overall correlation studies are discussed in terms of the possible driving sources of fast electrons." @default.
